Tilapia cooked in Curry

Something I tried which is actually an experiment that came out great... 3 tilapia fillets (season with pepper, salt and chillie powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

    2 tablespoon curry powder

    1 teaspoon salt

    4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

    1 medium onion, sliced

    145ml coconut milk

2 cups veggies of your choice

    water

Heat olive oil and add curry powder stirring all the time. Allow curry powder to become brown. Add a little water when curry becomes too sticky. Add garlic and onions stir to coat with curry then add coconut milk continue stirring. After 5 minutes add fish. Lower heat and cover, cook for about 15 minutes. Add veggies and cook for 5 more minutes without cover.

Reminiscing childhood

Apache...
Some of you born during such time would know what I mean. We visited Oslo Technical Science Museum and among the things there, we found an identical bicycle my husband use to have when he was about 7 years old. His mothers father gave it to him. They saw it by a window on a shop he asked him if he liked it and bought it. What a lucky kid. Well he was the first grand child he will have it of course.Posted by Picasa
